Abundant Life
As a Christian, a follower of Christ, you have everything you need to live the eternal, abundant life. (2 Peter 1:3-11) It is written that Jesus said ‘I have come that you might have life and have it to the full (abundantly)’ (John 10:10). Christ has sanctified us, that is made us Holy. It isn’t your intelligence, your education, or your family background that determines the holiness in your life. Everything you need to live a victorious, joyful and abundant life is found in the Holy Spirit who resides within you (Gal 5:22-23). You as a Christian have to access these qualities by faith: goodness, knowledge of God, self-control, patience, godliness, kindness and love. You have to cultivate the fruit that is given to you by the Holy Spirit by living in the Word of God and washing in the Blood of the Lamb on a daily basis, making it yours.
The key to all that God has made available to us is in our faith. Without Faith you cannot please God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So washing in and feeding on the Word, daily, helps us crucify the flesh and walk in the Spirit.
